In this letter, we first discuss how office vacancy rates across London relate to public transit access. We then examine why the path of interest rates remains uncertain despite inflation having fallen, as well as how gateway cities have recovered since lockdowns were imposed nearly half a decade ago. We wrap up by portending the challenges that face power networks across developed economies as energy demands appear ready to rise even as household appliances become increasingly efficient.
