Michael Kovacs at Bisnow’s The Future of London Office Investment and Development Event

On March 21 2023, Michael Kovacs, Founding Partner of Castleforge, spoke at Bisnow’s “The Future of Office: Investment and Development” event which was held at the YY building in Canary Wharf.

Speaking on the Capital Markets and Investing in the London Office Market Panel, Michael discussed the current state of offices in London and the bifurcation in the market between assets that can be made fit for purpose and those that can’t, in response to incoming UK Government Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards and the modern work environments that corporate occupiers are increasingly demanding.

Michael also explained the changes to office building business models that need to take place in order to attract tenants to sign long leases, both for large HQ-style offices as well as smaller buildings.
