What Haggerston Baths Could Look Like in 2024
Castleforge received planning approval earlier this year for our plans to transform the historic Haggerston Baths.
Since closing its doors in 2000, this much-loved building has fallen into disrepair and is even included in the Victorian Society’s list of the most endangered Victorian and Edwardian buildings in England.
Our intention is to bring the space back to life, with a mixed-use approach for both private and community functions. Our plans will see the creation of flexible working offices, a café and a gym with a new six-storey brick extension while preserving the building’s heritage features.
Thank you MyLondon for sharing more about the history of Haggerston Baths and our exciting plans for restoring this Hackney landmark.
